Marvin Mundy

Marvin Wayne Mundy, 64, of Paragon, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017 with family by his side. He was born to Paul C. and Frieda A. (Smith) Mundy on July 14, 1953 in Indianapolis.

Marvin was an Honorary Member of A & A Township Volunteer Fire Department. He lived in his birthplace of Indianapolis for 34 years.

Marvin is survived by three loving sisters, Martha Jane Byrd, Nancy (Robert) Slade and Diana (James) Simmons, all of Indianapolis; a loving brother, Norman (Sharon) Mundy of Plainfield; several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Devoney (Joseph) Collins of Paragon. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Paul, Lewis, Ronald and Harold Eugene Mundy; and a sister, Helen Collins.

Marvin's celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 with calling starting at 10 a.m. in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Marvin will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
