Marvin Mcmurray

Marvin O. McMurray, 74, of Indianapolis, IN died November 19, 2004. He was born June 3, 1930 to parents Owen McMurray and Clara (Henessey) McMurray. He was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Darlene Hendren January 11, 1952. He is a lifetime member of the VFW-Ernie Pyle Post 1120 in Indianapolis, IN. Before retiring in 1992, he was a Supervisor for General Motors Chevrolet Plant for 38 years. He is survived by his Wife: Darlene (Hendren) McMurray of Indianapolis, IN; 3 Children: Chris Oberle of Mooresville, IN; Rick McMurray of Indianapolis, IN; Scott McMurray of Mooresville, IN; 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. Visitation will be 2-8pm Monday, November 22, 2004 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral will be at 11am Tuesday November 23, 2004 at Jones Family Mortuary. Charles Paxton will be officiating. Marvin McMurray will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
