Martha L. (Hunter) Hadley, age 93, of Monrovia died November 6, 2005 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born on January 3, 1912 in Linton, IN to the late Clayton and Cora (Hawk) Hunter. Martha was a current resident of Monrovia for 60 years having previously lived in Indianapolis for 20 years and Linton, IN for 13 years. On October 4, 1934 she married the late Gordon Hadley. Martha was a homemaker, member of West Union Friends Church in Monrovia, member of Order of the Eastern Star in Monrovia, 1990 Grand Marshall of the Monrovia Football Fathers, and a member of the Monrovia Homemakers Club. She was a 1929 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. She is survived by 1 daughter, Holly Lee of Monrovia, and 2 sons, Stephen A. Hadley of Plainfield and Dean C. Hadley of Monrovia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded by 1 son, David D. Hadley and 1 Great Granddaughter, Jessica Lee. There will be visiting hours from 2-8pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a memorial service at 10am, Thursday, November 10, 2005 at West Union Friends Church in Monrovia. Joseph Cassady will be officiating the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to West Union Friends Church, 605 Gordon Rd., Monrovia, IN 46157 or to Community Home Health Services, c/o Hospice Donation, 9894 East 121st St., Fishers, IN 46037.
