It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Martha "Jane" Parks (Nesselroad) Drake, a beloved mother, devoted friend, and remarkable businesswoman, who departed this world on March 31, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Manchester Township, Ohio, on May 19, 1940 to her parents Kenneth Edward and Helen Lucina (Parks) Nesselroad, Jane exemplified dedication, compassion, and an unyielding spirit throughout her life. Jane married the late Harold Dean Drake on March 17, 1959.

Jane graduated as valedictorian from Reinersville High School in 1958 before pursuing further education at Lorain County Community College. For an impressive 43 years, she proudly served as a Realtor, broker, and owner of Drake Realty LLC in Greenwood, Indiana. Her passion for her work was undeniable; she was known for her enthusiasm and genuine warmth that made every client feel like family. Even after retiring at the age of 80, Jane remained an active consultant, always eager to share her wealth of knowledge with others.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jane was a devoted family woman and a steadfast friend. She is survived by her four cherished children: Pamela Getz (Dave) of Martinsville, DeeAnn Hicks (Randy) of Whiteland, Staci Drake (John Armeta) of Sebring, Florida, and Brad Drake (Andrea) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Her legacy will continue through her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jane is also remembered fondly by her beloved brother, Lloyd Nesselroad (Esther) of Beverly, Ohio.

Jane's zest for life extended beyond her career; she was an avid sports fan who passionately supported Ohio State University, the Indiana Pacers, and the Colts. She loved gathering with friends for lively games of euchre and bingo, where her infectious laughter and cheerful spirit would light up any room. She never met a stranger, her approachable nature encouraging countless conversations and friendships along the way.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Drake, her son, Doug Drake, along with both her parents, five brothers, and one sister. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
