Marjorie Baker

Marjorie (Goens) Baker, 96, of Camby, passed away Sunday, June 18th, 2023. She was born June 10th, 1927 in Indianapolis to her parents Carl S. Goens Sr. and Pearl M. (Williams) Poole. She married the late Howard E. Baker on June 26th, 1943. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life.

Marjorie is survived by her two daughters: Kathy Ward (Randy) of Camby and Karen Webb (Dana) of Nebraska; four grandchildren: Michael Ward, Amy Welsh, Curren Webb, and Correy Webb; 10 great grandchildren: Braedon Ward, Megan Potts, Kameron Welsh, Dylan Welsh, Caelen Webb, Caeden Webb, Kyler Webb, Kensley Webb, Landon Webb, and Lauren Webb; and five great great grandchildren. Marjorie is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Howard E. Baker; one son, Eric H. Baker; five sisters; and two brothers.

Marjorie was a Homemaker, who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, especially the Bible and devotions.

Private services will be held at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Marjorie will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie's memory to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
