Marie Park

Marie Park, 85, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 in Westside Health Care Center. She was born on November 5, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Orville and Mary Jane (Chew) Sturm. She married Hugh B. Park on July 27, 1947. Marie lived most of her life in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker, worked at Gray's Cafeteria in Mooresville for several years, member of Order of the Eastern Star and loved spending time with her family. Marie is survived by her son, Don Park of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Edie Swager of Angola, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Mary Jane (Chew) Sturm; 2 sons: Corporal Robert L. Park and James A. Park and 4 brothers: John, Frank, Hollis and Charles Sturm. Friends may call from 3-8pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 and also 10-11am, Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral services are at 11am, Thursday, June 21, 2012 also at Jones Family Mortuary. John Dunaway will be officiating. Marie will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Glenns Valley.
