Marguerite Johnson

Marguerite E. Johnson, 67, of Camby, IN passed away March 17, 2006. She was born September 27, 1938 in Marco, IN to the late Claud E. and Audre (Johnson) Coker. She lived in Camby for 3 years, in Indianapolis for 45 years, and in Marco for 15 years. She loved to crochet and work on crossword puzzles. She was a certified Nursing Assistant for 5 years at Garfield Nursing Home in Indianapolis before retiring in 1993. Previously, she worked at Windsor Manor in Indianapolis for 4 years. She is survived by 7 children: Suzanne Johnson of California, Tammy Smith of Bloomington, Rick Johnson of Camby, Timothy Johnson of Fishers, Richard Johnson of Ohio, Sharon Mabry of Indianapolis, and Christine Thomas of Camby;21 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; and she was preceded in death by 1 son, Charles Johnson; 2 brothers, Elbert and Claude Coker; and 1 sister, Loretta Grant. There will be a graveside service at North Branch Cemetery at 11 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 with Billy Gott officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
