She married the late Harold Kern in 1954.
Margaret was a proud graduate of Bloomington High School, after which she dedicated herself as a beloved cook at Broadview Elementary School in Bloomington and Shawswick Elementary School in Bedford. Her dedication to her craft and her delightful cooking blessed countless students with fond memories of their time in school for almost a decade.
