Marcella Godwin

Marcella Godwin, 63 of Mooresville, IN passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008. She was born September 18, 1944 in New Castle, IN to the late Marion S. and the late Rhoda Ina (Clark) Marcum. Marcella married the late Stephen D. Godwin on February of 1967. She has lived in Mooresville, IN for 3 years, Monticello, KY for 18 years where she was raised, Indianapolis, IN for 25 years, and in Martinsville, IN for 18 years. Marcella was a Factory Worker for Jenn-Air in Indianapolis, IN for 18 years and retired in 1990 after that she worked in Janitorial Department for Monrovia Elementary School for 4 years. She loved spending time with her family. Marcella was a member of the Highland Creek Southern Baptist Church. Marcella is survived by 1 Son, Steve Godwin of Mooresville ,IN; 1 Daughter, Teresa Fenley of Camby, IN; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Cathy Earls of Monticello, KY; and 1 Brother, Johnny Marcum of Indianapolis, IN. She is also preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Lisa Miller. Calling hours for Marcella will be from 4-8pm, Monday, April 21, 2008 and the funeral will be at 10am, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Pastor Robert Walters will officiate the service and Marcella will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
