Mannie Early

November 27, 1945 — December 4, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mannie L. Early, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Mannie departed this life on December 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her. She was born on November 27, 1945, in Rural, Kentucky to her parents Earl and Goldie (Cruz) Dennison, before establishing her home in Mooresville, Indiana.

Mannie was a proud graduate of Ben Davis High School, Class of 1963. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to being a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her family. Her faith and commitment to her community were evident in her active membership at Graceway Fellowship Church in Mooresville.

Mannie's passions included spending time with her family, solving crossword puzzles, and immersing herself in jigsaw puzzles. She found joy in reading her Bible, watching game shows, and listening to and singing old gospel music. Her selflessness and generosity touched the lives of many, reflecting the love she had for children and her commitment to nurturing those around her.

Mannie is survived by her loving husband, Emerson Troy Early of Mooresville; her children, Tracy Early (Francisca) of Freedom, Indiana, Danny Early of New Tazwell, Tennessee, and Gary Early (Dawn) of Mooresville; along with five cherished grandchildren: Kristin Holm, Tyler Early, Kent Early, Trent Early, and Brooke Sering; four great-grandchildren: Dawson Holm, Charlotte Holm, Lucas Sering, and Logan Sering; and three beloved sisters: Hope, Geraldine, and Loretta. Mannie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Earl Dean, Larry, and Stanley; and three sisters: Brenda, Luticia, and Gail.

In honor of Mannie's life and legacy, family and friends may join together on December 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service. A second public visitation will occur on December 10, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, leading into a Celebration of Life ceremony at 2:00 PM. Following the service, Mannie will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville. A bereavement meal will be held at the Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center following graveside services, where all are welcome to gather in remembrance of Mannie.

Mannie L. Early will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in peace.
