Luke Andrew Thompson

Luke Andrew Thompson, 36, of Mooresville, passed away on February 21, 2020. Luke was born in Indianapolis to Mike and Deb Thompson on February 21, 1984. He was a 2002 graduate of Monrovia High School. Luke enjoyed working with his hands as he worked both in construction and in landscaping. He enjoyed writing poetry and he loved his music. Luke had a heart of gold, he was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He loved to make people smile and laugh. He also enjoyed playing and watching sports, and was a talented and competitive poker and pool player. Luke is survived by his parents: Mike and Deb Thompson of Mooresville; grandmother, Anna Thompson of Indianapolis; brother, Jon (Heather) Thompson of Mooresville; and nephew, Sullie Thompson of Mooresville. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, Mooresville. The family has decided to invite those who prefer to see Luke to come between 4-6 pm and for those others a closed casket visitation between 6-8 pm. The celebration of life service will be 11 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the banquet center.
