Louise (Weezie) Schubert Ash - Loving mother, grandmother and devoted Catholic, passed away November 6, 2022. From there, she was employed by Travelers Insurance Company and later by AON, from whom she retired.

In many respects, Louise didn't really retire nor did she know the meaning. She spent most of her time trying to give back and make a positive impact in the ways that she loved best. Weezie shared her joy of sewing, baking or working on craft projects, not only with her family members, but with various charities including her church family, nursing homes, Catholic Radio Indy and for anyone who asked. She never turned any project down as she would always find time regardless of the circumstances. Many baby blankets, wedding dresses, walker bags, curtains and the like were all made with love and attention to detail never expecting anything in return.

Beyond her charitable works, Weezie enjoyed playing games and spending time with family. During COVID, she would pass time playing online games with family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing puzzles frequently sharing them once completed.

Louise was a very active charter member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church spending countless hours volunteering and sharing her numerous talents.

For a person small in stature, her heart was bigger than anyone can imagine. Her devout faith, generous love, compassion and endless giving to others will leave us all with a very heavy heart. She is loved and will be missed so much by everyone.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 16th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville. Louise will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
