Lois Tandy

Lois Tandy, 89, Mooresville, IN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Countryside Meadows. Lois was born in Newark, IN to Clisten Wells and Grace (McDaniel) Burch on September 16, 1928. Lois married the late Loren Tandy in 1946.

Lois worked at Citizens Bank for 35 years and was Vice President of Marketing when she retired in 1993. She was a member of Mooresville Free Methodist Church where she was very active. Her Christian faith was of utmost importance to her. She was also a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville for several years, loved working in her yard, and traveling. She was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her sons: Stephen (Vicki) Tandy of SC and Paul (Rhonda) Tandy of Plainfield; 5 grandchildren: Greg, Matt, Josh and Gavin Tandy and Ginger Uhls; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Wilson of Mooresville; 3 brothers: David Burch, Cliston Wells Jr. and Doug Thomas. Lois is preceded by her husband and parents.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2 and 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Jeff Newton will officiate the celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Lois will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
