Lois Saucerman

Lois I. Saucerman, 78, of Monrovia, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Methodist Hospital. Lois was born on January 29, 1933 to Harry and Effiemay (Robertson) Davis of Sullivan County. Lois married Wayne Saucerman on April 3, 1953. Lois lived in Monrovia since 1954, retiring from Hubbard Mill in 1981 after 17 years as office manager. Previously, she was a Bookkeeper for various furniture stores in Indianapolis for 5 years. A graduate of Union High School, Dugger, IN in 1950. Lois was a member of Monrovia United Methodist Church and Monrovia Homemakers Club. Lois is survived by her husband; 2 sons: Darrell (Mindy) Saucerman of Seattle and Gary (Phyllis) Saucerman of Monrovia; 4 grandchildren: Jessica, Michael, Rebecca and Julie Saucerman; 4 Brothers: Dick, Wendell, Robert and Loren Davis and 1 Sister, Evamae Meyer. Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary. Gordon Esterline & Jonie Nester will officiate the 11am funeral service on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Additional visitation will be held at Banks and Brust Funeral Home, Sullivan, IN from Thursday, December 22, 2011. Jonie Nester will officiate the 1pm funeral service at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, IN.
