Lida "Carolyn" Pence, 75, of Martinsville, IN, died on November 22, 2012. Carolyn was born to Clifford C. Shaffer & Marie (Tackett) Howard on August 29, 1937 in McDermott, OH. Carolyn worked as an Assembly Line Worker for R.C.A. in Indianapolis, IN for 37 years, retiring in 1997. Carolyn has lived in the Mooresville, IN area most of her life. Carolyn enjoyed sewing, quilting & scrap booking. Carolyn is survived by 4 children, Randall Pence of Martinsville, IN, Pamela Pence of Martinsville, IN, Aaron Pence of Mooresville, IN & Scot (Constance) Pence of Paragon, IN; 3 grandchildren, Lindsay Toothman, Devin Adams & Anthony Pence; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Larry, David & Duane Shaffer & 1 sister, Barbara Schoenberger. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford C. Shaffer & Marie (Tackett) Howard. Calling hours for Carolyn will be from 1 - 2 pm, Monday, November 26, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Billy Gott will officiate the 2 pm funeral service on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Carolyn will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
