Leanna Powers

Leanna M. Powers, 81, of Indianapolis, IN, died October 20, 2008. She was born on April 25, 1927 in Indianapolis, to the late Clifford Fishero and Dorothy (Leonard) Whitted. She married the late Daniel A. Powers on January 7, 1956. Before retirng in the early 80's, she was a bus driver for Decatur Township Schools for 11 years. Previously, she was a group leader for RCA in Indianapolis for 22 years, retiring in 1972. She is survived by three children; Donald (Linda) Sudduth of Florida, Steven N. (Melanie) Sudduth of Bargesville, IN and Diana (Tim) Soper of Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Calling will be from 2-8pm on Thursday, October 23, 2008 and 10-11am on Friday, October 24, 2008 before the 11am funeral service. Dr. Steven Sorensen will conduct the service. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park North in Indianapolis, IN.
