Larry W. Philpott

Larry W. Philpott Jr., 55, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, June 26th, 2020. He was born September 9th, 1964 in Beech Grove to his parents, Larry W. and Vickie (Owen) Philpott Sr. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life. Larry is survived by his mother, Vickie (Owen) Philpott of Indianapolis; five siblings: Tammy Choate of Indianapolis, Percy (Melissa) Philpott of Indianapolis, Sally (Gary) Bettner of Boggstown, Chris (Kimberly) Philpott of Indianapolis, and Sam (Melissa) Philpott of Indianapolis; Niece and Nephew: Bobbi Sue and Chris Jr that he considered his own children and two great nephews: Nixon and Clayton, that he considered as his own grandchildren; several other nieces and nephews; and two close cousins: Donna Sheets and Paula Stegall. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Larry W. Philpott Sr and girlfriend, Cindy Spivey. Larry attended Plainfield High School in Plainfield. He was an over the road Truck Driver all of his life, but for the past year worked for V.T.I. Trucking in Indianapolis. Larry loved fishing and spending time with his brother, sister in-law and his mother. He would help absolutely anyone and was a giver to all of anything. Larry was a member of American Legion Post #64. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 30th and from 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, July 1st at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Edward Hunter will officiate a celebration of life service at 11 am on Wednesday, July 1st at the funeral home. Larry will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery in Camby next to his father, Larry W.
