Kimberly J. Harvey

Kimberly J. "Kim" Harvey, 51, of Mooresville, passed away on April 16, 2021 in IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Kim was born on May 20, 1969 to Russell Eugene Soots and Carol (Smith) Scott. She married Michael L. Harvey on July 16, 1989. Kim was a little sugar and a little spice, but overall she was just little. She was big in all the ways that counted: A big lust for life, big plans and a huge heart. Her greatest joys were spending time with those she loved, camping, sitting around the fire, playing games, planning parties and pulling pranks. She met the love of her life Mike very young, and knew right away she wanted to build a family with him. They proceeded to have two amazing children, Josie and Mikey. Josie blessed Kim and Mike with 3 beautiful grandchildren: Aubrey, Asher and Baby Brodie. Kim found her calling in being a grandmother, and she planned her days around the time she could spend with them. Kim worked at Meritor for over 20 years, providing for those she held dear. Kim is survived by her parents; husband; daughter, Josie (Ben) Davis of Martinsville and son, Michael Harvey of Mooresville; three grandchildren: Aubrey, Asher and Brodie Davis. She is preceded in death by her brother, Russell Soots Jr. and step mother, Shirley Soots. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 pm, Monday, April 19, 2021 and 12 pm to 1 pm, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center, 4161 East Allison Rd. Mooresville, IN 46158, next to Jones Family Mortuary. The celebration of life service will follow at 1 pm, Tuesday at the banquet center. Private graveside services will follow and Kim will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
