Kenneth James Summers, 36 of Plainfield, IN passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007. He was born August 19, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN to Richard R. Summers of Plainfield, IN and Linda I. (Watkins) Summers of Plainfield, IN. Kenneth has lived in Plainfield, IN for 3 years, Avon, IN for 5 years, and Indianapolis, IN for most of his life. He was a 1989 Decatur Central High School Graduate and also attended Mooresville United Methodist Church. For the past 3 months, he was a Shipping Clerk for Bright Point in Plainfield, IN. Previously, he worked at J.C. Penney Warehouse in Plainfield, IN for 5 years. Kenneth is survived by his Son, Noah James Summers of Avon, IN; Parents, Richard and Linda Summers of Plainfield, IN; Brother, Keith Summers of Plainfield, IN; Sister, Kelly Lamar of Indianapolis, IN; Grandparents, Kenneth and Laverne Summers of Morgantown, IN and Wendell and Berniece Watkins of Mooresville, IN. Calling hours for Kenneth will be from 4-8pm, Friday, November 30, 2007 with the funeral at 1pm, Saturday, December 1, 2007 both being at Jones Family Mortuary. Kenneth will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery. Shawn Eldridge and Kurt Freeman will officiate the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
