It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Allen Soladine, 92, who entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2026, at his home in Camby, Indiana. Born on September 2, 1933, in Indianapolis, to his parents Carl Phillip and Ethel Eleanor (Blaze) Soladine, Keith lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He married the late Scharron Marie (Smith) Soladine on August 24, 1963.

Keith graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1952, leaving behind a legacy of athleticism as a talented baseball and football player. His journey continued as he bravely served in the United States Army, which instilled in him a lifelong sense of duty and service. After his military service, he became a skilled machinist at Eli Lilly and Company, where he dedicated 35 years of his life. His work included a significant stint in Spain, contributing to the establishment of a new Lilly branch capsule, an experience he cherished deeply. He previously worked for US Rubber in Indianapolis, where he got the privilege of working with his father.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Keith was a devoted family man and a pillar of his community. With a strong commitment to the values of brotherhood, he was a 66 1/2 year member of West Newton Masonic Lodge #707, also holding memberships in the Scottish Rite and Shriners. His faith was an integral part of his life, as he was an active member of Camby Community Church and Emmanuel Church in Indianapolis, where he often lent his voice to the choir.

Keith's passions extended to vintage cars, gardening, and birdwatching. He delighted in the simple pleasures of life, once even proudly placing for the largest watermelon in a local contest. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying boxing, fishing, and hunting. Keith and Scharron loved spending time in their winter home in Lake Okeechobee, Florida. Above all, he cherished his time spent with family-his children and grandchildren were the joys of his life. Known for his wit, kindness, and generosity, Keith was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Keith is survived by his loving daughters, Devona Manion of Camby and Danielle Jenson (Rob) of Mooresville, and his son, Jason Soladine (Londa) of Mooresville. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of 14 grandchildren-Davin, Candice, Christine, Jeremy, Megan, Morgan, Breanna, Brittany, Brandon, Bryce, Laynie, Myles, Maleah, and Mia-along with several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: John Soladine (Ruth Ann) of Camby and Kim Soladine of Indianapolis.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Scharron Soladine; his son, Darryl Born; and his parents, and his cherished sisters, Judy Thorpe and Jennifer Shelley.

In remembrance of Keith's remarkable life, a series of funeral services will be held to honor him. A public viewing will take place on April 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service. A second public visitation will be held on May 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM, leading into the funeral service at 11:00 AM. A cryptside service will follow at Washington Park North Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
