Kay Sandy

Kay (Fields) Sandy, 72, of Mooresville, passed away after a recent illness with family by her side on May 5, 2016. She was born to Forrest and Lucille (Cooper) Fields on June 10, 1943 in Indianapolis. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1961. She married David Sandy on August 14, 1976.

Kay was an office manager for an OBGYN practice for over 20 years and was a sales associate for Godby, Hearth and Home for 10 years. She lived in Mooresville, Plainfield and Indianapolis for most of her life.

Kay is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Dustin) Wittell of Mooresville; three granddaughters: Taylor, Erin and Lindsay Wittell, all of Mooresville; two sisters: Agatha Allen of Martinsville and Alene Davis of Plainfield. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Sonny Fields.

Family and friends may attend a special gathering to celebrate Kay's life from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
