Kathleen Cobb

Kathleen Cobb, 89 of Mooresville, IN passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008. She was born August 9, 1918 in Seymour, IN to the late August "Gus" Taskey and the late Clara Myrtle (Mitchell) Taskey. She married John B. Cobb on June 10, 1939. Kathleen has lived in Mooresville, IN for 31 years and also in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years. She was a 1936 Seymour High School Graduate and a 1938 Indiana Business College Graduate. She was a member of the Mooresville First United Methodist Church. Kathleen was also involved in the Waverly Order of the Eastern Star where she was the pianist for years, loved cooking with a specialty in cinnamon rolls, but also enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She was also a Homemaker. Kathleen is survived by her Husband, John B. Cobb of Mooresville, IN; 3 Sons: John D. Cobb of Mooresville, IN, Donald C. (Kathy) Cobb of Mooresville, IN, and Ron E. (Jamie) Cobb of Mooresville, IN; 8 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter; 2 Sisters, Bernice Reedy of Bloomington, IN and Lois Bluhm of Florida. She is also preceded in death by 1 Brother, August Taskey and 2 Sisters, Dorothy Wright and Margaret McGuire. Calling hours for Kathleen will be from 4-7pm, Sunday, February 17, 2008 and also 9-10am (1 hour prior to the 10am Funeral) on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral will be at 10am, Monday, February 18, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Dennis Payton will officiate the service and Kathleen will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, IN. There will also be an Eastern Star Service at 4:30pm, Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary.
