Katheryn Kinslow

Katheryn (Plummer) Kinslow, 91, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully with her loving children by her side on February 5, 2016. Katheryn was born to Carl and Pearl (Sawyers) Plummer on April 13, 1924 in Mooresville.

Katheryn was an Assembly Line Worker for Best Foods in Indianapolis for over 40 years, retiring in 1989. She lived in Mooresville all of her life.

Katheryn is survived by three children, Linda King of Mooresville, John (Janie) Scotten of Mooresville and Tonya Scotten of Mooresville; four grandchildren, Angela, Jonathan, Jason, Jamie; eight great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Muncie of Avon, Nancy Hamner of Indianapolis; two brothers, Richard Plummer of Mooresville and Milford Plummer of Mooresville. Katheryn is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Antonio Scotten; a great-grandson, Aven Ritter; two sisters and one brother.

Family and friends may gather from 5-8 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2016 and 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Don Endsley will officiate the 10 a.m. celebration of life service on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary. Katheryn will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery at a later date.
