Katherine Price

Katherine Price, 89 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008. She was born April 29, 1918 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Clarence Fortner and the late Violet (Luke) Johnson. Katherine married the late Paris D. Price on August 3, 1932. She has lived in Indianapolis, IN for most of her life. She was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church and was also a Homemaker. Katherine is survived by 3 Sons: Perry M. Price of Del Rio, TX, Charles W. Price of Plainfield, IN, and James R. Price of Plainfield, IN; 10 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Lester Fortner of Mooresville, IN; 3 Sisters: Mable Powell of WY, Viola Price of Indianapolis, IN, and Margaret Jones of Missouri. She is also preceded in death by 1 Son, John L. Price; 3 Brothers: William Fortner, Clarence Fortner, and Floyd Fortner. Calling hours for Katherine will be from 11am-1pm, Monday, March 17, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 1pm, Monday, March 17, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Wes McClure will officiate the service and Katherine will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
