Karen Keown

Karen M. (Boles) Keown, 63, Mooresville, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2015. She was born to Alvin E. and Marie (Burnett) Boles on November 9, 1951 in Beech Grove. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1970. She married Robert J. Keown on September 25, 1976. Karen has been a Bus Driver for Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation for the past 20 years. She is a member of Grace Point Church in Whiteland. She loved taking care of her family, taking beach vacations, planning family reunions, enjoyed reading and flower gardening. She lived in the Mooresville and Camby area most of her life. Karen is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert Keown of Mooresville; a daughter, Polly Keown of Mooresville and her mother, Marie Boles of Mooresville. She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin E. Boles. Family and friends may gather from 4-7 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 and 9:30-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Tim Lindsey II will officiate the 10:30 a.m. celebration of life service on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
