June Harrington

June Edith Harrington, 62, of Camby, IN, passed away March 13, 2006. She was born November 9, 1943 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Claybern Edward Pitts and the late Marie Sadie (Hollifield) Pitts. She was married on November 13, 1965 to Leroy Harrington. She lived in Camby since 1970, but had been living the winter seasons in Moore Haven, Florida for 7 years. She was involved in the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxillary in LaBelle, FL, the American Legion Ladies Auxillary in LaBelle, FL, she was in the banquet business for 2 years at the Ramada East in Indianapolis and at the Indianapolis airport Hilton/Ramada for 18 years, the last 2 years as manager. June is survived by her husband, Leroy Harrington of Camby, IN; 4 children: Creighton Harrington of Indianapolis, Tamara Waites of Camby, IN, Brian Harrington of Indianapolis, and Nicole Carroll of Indianapolis; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary Pitts of Clemmons, N.C. and Marty Pitts of Indianapolis. Calling hours for June will be 2-7pm, Sunday, March 19, 2006 and the Funeral will be at 10am, Monday, March 20, 2006 both at JONES FAMILY MORTUARY. The service will be officiated by John Dunaway. June will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the funeral.
