Judy Nicholson

Judy A. Nicholson, 75, of Martinsville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 23, 2016. Judy was born to Lloyd and Wanda (Fitch) Russell on November 28, 1940 in Alfordsville. Judy married C. Waymon Nicholson on September 5, 1992.

Judy was Director of Mooresville Senior Center for 18 years. She attended Mooresville Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived in Martinsville for most of her life.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, C. Waymon Nicholson of Martinsville; four children, Lori (Clark) Ferguson of Brazil, Tony (Angela) Nicholson of Coatesville, Marci (Craig) Briles of Bloomington, Franci (Kevin) Dilk; nine grandchildren, Curtis and Andrea Ferguson, Joshua Nicholson, Ben, Nick, Max and Jonathan Briles, Carissa and Charlie Dilk.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Friday, March 25 and 9-10 a.m., Saturday, March 26 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. There will be a celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 in Jones Family Mortuary. Judy will be laid to rest in Centerton Cemetery, Martinsville.
