Judith Connell

Judith Ann (Williams) Connell, 73, of Avon, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016. She was born to C. Tilford and Vanda (Twyman) Williams on October 2, 1943 in Indianapolis. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1961.

As a homemaker, Judy also worked as an Administrative Assistant for several places for many years. She was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed dancing and loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She lived in Indianapolis for most of her life.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Karie (Robert) Mize of Avon, Kelly (Kevin) Connell of Pittsboro; three grandchildren, Taylor and Kailyn Mize and Alyas Connell; a sister, Barbara Dube; and a brother, Dale Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Emogene Chisham, Wanda Doan and Euna Pittman.

Family and friends may gather from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 and 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Dave Buckner will officiate Judy's celebration of life service at 1:30 p.m on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center.
