Joyce M. Snow (Green)

Joyce M. (Green) Snow, 86, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 9th, 2025. She was born November 27th, 1938 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to her parents Charlie Green and Alma (Vinson) Denson. She married the late Reggie Snow in 1985 and was previously married to the late Earl J. Swan in 1956.

Joyce is survived by her two children: Michael Swan (Janice) of Mooresville, Indiana and Sandra Hicks of Greenville, Texas; four grandchildren: Amanda Love-Davis (Justin), Holly Canady (Kevin), Nicole Rinker (James), and Courtney Cucchiara (Kevin); six great-grandchildren: Halynn, Carly, Cameron, Colton, Cody, and Jameson; three siblings: Charles Green, Sue Murray, and Bobby York; special cousin, Linda Cross; and bonus family: Jodi Perkins, Richie Perkins (Sarah), and Barbara Johnson (Chad).

Joyce is preceded in death by both parents; her step-father, Ellis York; first husband, Earl J. Swan; second husband, Reggie Snow; and bonus family member, Russell "Rusty" Perkins.

Joyce was a proud 1956 graduate of Red Boiling Springs High School in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. After that, she spent an impressive 37 years as a Radiology Research Technician at Eli Lilly before enjoying her retirement in 2002. Joyce was an active member of the Greenwood Moose Lodge #2079 and South Keystone Church of Christ, where she forged meaningful connections.

She had a real knack for gardening and absolutely loved flowers! An enthusiastic NASCAR fan, she also cherished her time spent boating and riding motorcycles. Cooking was one of her favorite hobbies, and she loved trying out new recipes. In her downtime, you could find her enjoying crossword puzzles or dancing with joy. Joyce was truly a warm-hearted person known for her incredible strength and unconditional love for her family.

Family and friends may show their love and support during a visitation from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 15th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service, 4165 East Allison Road, Mooresville, Indiana 46158

Additional services will be held at Anderson and Son Funeral Home, 544 Lafayette Road, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee 37150. Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 19th. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Joyce will be laid to rest at Smith Chapel Cemetery, 616 Bennett Hill Road, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee 37150
