Joyce Merritt

Joyce Ann Merritt, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2017. Joyce was born to Archie and Flora (Losh) Merritt on July 2, 1951 in Indianapolis. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1969.

Joyce was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed reading and making rosaries to give to the catholic church. She lived in Indianapolis for most of her life.

Joyce is survived by three children, Kevin Combs, Steven Clark and Victoria Fishel; fiance, James Baker; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Merritt. She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; and a brother, Terry Merritt.

It was Joyce's wishes to be cremated and to have private services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
