Joseph Allen "JoeBob" Taylor, 52 of Camby, IN passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007. He was born December 24, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph Alvin Taylor and Naomi (Chadd) Miller. He was married to Rhondi (Pruden) Taylor of Camby, IN and they married on November 20, 1989.
Joseph has lived in Camby since 1989 and lived in Monrovia for 35 years. He was a 1973 graduate of Monrovia High School and was a member of the Plainfield Fraternal Order of Eagles #3207. He was currently a Mechanic for Cummins Mid-State Power and Refrigeration for the last 5 years. Previously, he worked for Daum Trucking in Plainfield for 12 years. He was also currently Owner and Operator of "JTR" Racing in Monrovia for the past 33 years.
Joseph was survived by his Wife, Rhondi (Pruden) Taylor of Camby, IN; 3 Children: Jo An Taylor of Seattle, Washington, Steve Ferguson of Camby, IN, and Dana Ferguson of Florida; Mother, Naomi (Chadd) Miller of Monrovia, IN; Step-Father, Carlos Miller of Monrovia, IN; Father, Joseph Alvin Taylor of Florida; Twin Brother, Jack Taylor of Monrovia, IN; 2 Sisters: Barbara Huntrods of Bedford, IN and Kathy Taylor of Monrovia, IN.
Calling hours for Joseph Allen "JoeBob" will be from 2-8pm, Sunday, February 11, 2007 and the funeral will be at 10am, Monday, February 12, 2007 both at Jones Family Mortuary. Terry Crist will be officiating the service. Joseph will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Hall. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
