Joseph Clossey

Joseph Eugene Clossey, 71, of Plainfield, IN died Wednesday, November 23, 2005. He was born September 13, 1934 to the late Thomas Clossey and Inez (Dunn) Clossey. He was married December 22, 1961 to Nancy (Ward) Clossey. He lived in Indianapolis for 24 years, Mooresville for 7 years, and Plainfield for 40 years. He was a self employed Accountant and Tax Preparer for 42 years and previously an Office Manager for Bottema Farms. He worked at Bottema Farms for 20 years and retired in 1984. Joseph is survived by his Wife, Nancy Clossey of Plainfield; his 2 sons, John "J.D." Clossey of Plainfield and Brian (Angela) Clossey of Gosport, IN; 4 Granddaughters: Shelby, Katie, Morgan, and Jamie; 1 Brother, Bill Clossey of Indianapolis, and 1 Sister, Mary Wyatt of Indianpolis. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers: Lester, John, and Tommy Clossey; and his 1 sister, Carolyn Gooding. Visitation will be 2-6pm, Sunday, November 26, 2005 and the funeral at 10am, Monday, November 27, 2005 both at Jones Family Mortuary. Alan Farmer will be officiating the service. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
