Josalyn Ruth Baker

Josalyn Ruth Baker, 12, of Mooresville, passed away Sunday, March 26th, 2023. She was born October 27th, 2010 in Avon to her parents James Roy Baker and Edna Grace (Lobdell) Schellenberg. She was a resident of Mooresville for most of her life.

Josalyn is survived by her parents: Edna Grace (Robert) Schellenberg of Mooresville and James (Charlce) Baker; one sibling, Jamesen Baker; her grandparents: Debra (Dave) Martin, Ronald Baker, Dorothy Jones, and Pierre Lobdell; her adopted grandparents: Russell and Linda Wilson; aunts and uncles: Amber (Aaron) Adams, Elyse (Ryan) Rossi, Jason (Krystal) Baker, and Julie (Sean) Brink; and several cousins.

Josalyn was a 5th grader at North Madison Elementary School in Mooresville. She loved to sing in choir and do gymnastics. Josalyn enjoyed riding her bike, coloring, doing puzzles, and playing card games, especially with her family. She was a very loving and caring child with the sweetest heart.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, March 31st and from 9 to 10 am on Saturday April 1st at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, 4161 E. Allison Road, Mooresville, IN 46158. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 am Saturday, April 1st following visitation at the banquet center. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
