Jonquil S. Jolliffe

Jonquil S. "Joni" Jolliffe, 46, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022. She was born May 13th, 1976 in Indianapolis to her parents Norman Jolliffe and Willima Middleton. She married Brittney Wratten on October 19th, 2021. She was a lifetime resident of Indianapolis.

Joni is survived by her loving wife, Brittney Wratten of Indianapolis; two step children: Nathaniel and Jordyn; her mother, Willima "Billie" Middleton of Indianapolis; siblings: Larry (Tina) Shearer, Thomas Spoonamore, Rebecca Spoonamore, and Samantha Spoonamore; her grandmother, Lina; mother and father in law: Barbara and Jerry Hesson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Joni is preceded in death by her father, Norman Jolliffe.

Joni graduated from college for Diesel Mechanics and Business Engineering. She took that passion and was a OTR Truck Driver and Diesel Mechanic for RTS for five years. Joni loved to ride her motorcycle. She loved to go fishing, camping, and traveling. Joni was known as a bull-headed, outspoken and stubborn person, but had a kind heart and would help anyone that needed it. She often loved to spend time with her children and movie nights with them. Joni took pride in showing them new things and one thing she valued most was teaching them to be kind to others.

Family and friends may show their love and support for a memorial gathering from 12 pm (noon) to 2 pm on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm following the gathering.
