Johnny Keith Thrasher

Johnny Keith Thrasher Sr., 68, of Camby, passed away Monday, October 18th, 2021. He was born July 18th, 1953 in Indianapolis to his parents, Prentice and Emma Jean (Harless) Thrasher. He married Sally (Jackson) Thrasher on March 20th, 1971.

John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sally (Jackson) Thrasher of Camby; one daughter, Michelle Roach of Indianapolis; one son, Johnny (Adria) Thrasher Jr. of Mooresville; 10 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; and two brothers: Ronald (Mary) Thrasher of Camby and Jeffrey Thrasher of Plainfield. John is preceded in death by both of his parents; and half brother, Jack Thrasher.

John was a 1971 graduate of Mooresville High School. Most of his life he worked as a self-employed Painter, where he did residential and commercial painting. He took great pride in it as he loved painting, especially landscapes. John enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known for having a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling stories.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 12 pm (noon) on Friday, October 22nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 pm (noon) at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
