John Wubben

John D. Wubben, 82, of Mooresville, joined his wife, Mary Lou in Heaven on December 23, 2016. John was born to Fred M. and Margaret S. (Scott) Wubben on July 15, 1934 in Mitchell. John was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He earned an Assoicates Degree from Indiana Business College. He married the love of his life, Mary L. (Fecker) Wubben on Feburay 16, 1957.

John was a Cutter-Grinder for Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis from 1959-1991. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing and farming. He lived in Moooresville since 1966, lived in Indianapolis for 10 years and Lawrence County for 22 years.

John is survied by three children, Sherri (David Wellner) Breeden of Derby, John David (Julie) Wubben of Brownsburg, Steven Brian (Janice) Wubben of Camby; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Mollie, Michael, Valaree, Mandy, Stephen, Bryce, Brian; six great-grandchildren, Carter, Riley, Anna, Iszabella, Brecken, Johnnie; two brothers, Fred and Robert Wubben. John is preceded in death by his parents; wife; two grandchildren, Scott and Dallas; a brother, James Wubben; and two sisters, Janet Tincher and Jane Stockman.

Family and friends may gather from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 and 12-1 p.m on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Bill Van Horn will officiate John's celebration of life service at 1 p.m on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary. John will be laid to rest in Brooklyn Cemetery.
