John Robert Wood

John Robert Wood Sr., 64, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2022. He was born December 28th, 1957 in Greensburg, Indiana to his parents, Lloyd and Mildred Delores (Roberts) Carson. During his early childhood he was a resident of Greensburg, Indiana but spent most of his life as a resident of Mooresville. John is survived by his mother, Mildred Delores (Roberts) Carson; two children: John Robert (Megan) Wood of Colorado and Megan (A.J.) Brandenburg of Mooresville; six grandchildren: Morgan Brandenburg, Madisan Wood, Braden Brandenburg, Kynsley Wood, Keelan Brandenburg, and Amelia Brandenburg; and one sister, Pam Thompson of Angola, Indiana. John is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd L. Carson. John previously attended Mooresville High School. He was a Machinist. John was known as a loving father and grandfather. He loved building radios and hot wheels. In John's spare time, he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. One of John's favorite places to travel to was Daytona Beach. A private visitation will be held at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
