John Alan Wade

John Alan (Beard Papa) Wade, 63, of Franklin and previously from Greenwood, passed away peacefully at Compass Park in Franklin, Indiana on June 18, 2022. John was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 28, 1958 to Norris and Jean (Barney) Wade. John grew up in Indianapolis and was a 1978 graduate of Pike High School. John was a Model Maker for Carrier in Indianapolis for 29 years before retiring in 2016. He was a member of West Newton Masonic Lodge #707 where he was Past Master and Past Associate Bethel Guardian of Job's Daughters. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, water skiing, and fishing. He also enjoyed drag racing and welding. John is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Paul) Kiral of Bargersville, IN; father, Norris Wade of Indianapolis; two grandchildren: Graham and Ivy; two brothers: Dennis (Pam) Wade of Florence, SC and Chuck (Debbie) Wade of Chapin, SC and one sister, Ann (Steve) Haley of Cicero. John is preceded in death by his mother. Family and friends may show their love and support from 5-8 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 with Masonic Services at 7:30 pm. Additional visitation will be from 10 am - 11 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 East Allison Rd. Mooresville, IN 46158. Chaplin Elaine Clark will officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 11 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Funeral Home. John will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
