John F. "Bud" Schubert, 74 of Camby, IN passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. He was born September 8, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John F. Schubert Sr. and the late Mary (Busald) Schubert. He married Delores M. (Rathz) Schubert on June 20, 1959.
John has lived in Camby, IN for 49 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years. He was a 1951 Sacred Heart High School Graduate and was also a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church and also in the U.A.W. #933. Before retiring in 1992, he was a Production Machine Specialist for Detroit Diesel Allison for 40 years.
John is survived by his Wife, Dolores M. (Rathz) Schubert of Camby, IN; 7 Children: Katrina Soohov of IL, Anthony Schubert of Camby, IN, Lisa Rednour of Mooresville, IN, Robert Schubert of Camby, IN, Mary Cox of Indianapolis, IN, Arthur Schubert of Mooresville, IN, and Alana Swain of Camby, IN; 11 Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: James M. Schubert, Richard G. Schubert, Paul Schubert, and Joseph B. Schubert; and 5 Sisters: Louise Murphy, Ann Bernabo, Margaret Roberts, Monica Myrtle, and Rita O'Brian. He is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Carolyn J. Hudnall.
Calling hours for John will be from 3-8pm, March 7, 2008 and a 9:15am Prayer Service on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a Rosary Service at 7pm, March 7, 2008. The funeral will be at 10am, Saturday, March 8, 2008 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville, IN. Father Mark Gottemoeller and Father Glenn O'Connor will officiate the service.
