John A. Mccallister

John A. McCallister, 53, of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, June 15th, 2022. He was born November 13th, 1968 in Indianapolis to his parents, Ray and Betty S. (Price) McCallister. He married Kristy S. (King) McCallister on November 13th, 1999. John is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kristy S. (King) McCallister of Mooresville; one sister, Joyce (Anthony) Johnson; two nieces: Kate (Michael) Haynes and Christy Johnson; and two nephews: Dalton Clarkson and Tyler (Alyssa) Johnson. John is preceded in death by both of his parents; and one half sister, Loraine McCallister. John was a 1987 graduate of George Washington High School. He was a Truck Driver for several companies and most recently for M&M Cartage Company Inc before retiring in 2018. John was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He enjoyed playing around with small engine repair. Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, June 20th and from 9 to 10 am on Tuesday, June 21st at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 am following visitation on Tuesday, June 21st at the banquet center. John will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
