Joe Neal

Joe David Neal, 85, of Mooresville, passed away Thursday, December 10th, 2020. He was born September 18th, 1935 in Indianapolis to his parents, Welcome Joe and Esther M. (Fogle) Neal, where he lived for five years. Joe was a resident of Mooresville since 1939. Joe is survived by his son, Jackson "Jack" David Neal of Martinsville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. Joe is preceded in death by both of his parents; son, Timothy Joe Neal and daughter, Crystal Michelle Hunt. Joe was a 1962 Graduate of Mooresville High School and attended Purdue University for a short time. He later went on and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Joe was a lifetime Plumber and owner of J. Neal and Son Plumbing since 1970. He took his specialty and skills to Tech High School where he taught a Plumbing course for one year. Joe was a member and Past President of the Mooresville Lions Club, Mooresville Friends Church, Indiana Well Driller's Association, and a Children's Museum member and contributor. He had many hobbies that included: mountain climbing and was a Cartoonist who loved to sketch and paint. There will be no services held at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
