Joann Lewis

Joann (Wilson) Lewis, 75, of Martinsville, passed away Friday, March 11th, 2022. She was born September 30th, 1946 in Lebanon, Indiana to her parents, Chester and Virginia (Graham) Wilson. She married the late Elzie Lewis on August 28th, 1965. She was a resident of Indianapolis for 25 years and Clinton for 21 years. Joann was a resident of Martinsville for the past 7 years. Joann is survived by her four children: Kenneth Lewis of Brooklyn, Mary (Scott) Kennedy of Bloomfield, Betty Lewis of Camby, and Samantha (William) Keller of Clinton; eight grandchildren: Bradley, Heaven, Sondra, Amber, Angelika, Elzie, William, and Jayden; 10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Peggy McKinney. Joann is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Elzie Lewis; one brother, Jerry Wilson; and one great grandchild, Dominic Lewis. Joann was a Homemaker, She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, embroidery, and playing bingo. Joann loved spending time around her family. Family and friends may show their love and support from 12pm (noon) to 2 pm on Monday, March 14th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm following the visitation at the funeral home. Joann will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
