Jimmy Maggard

Jimmy Maggard, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on November 18, 2017. He was born to Vilas and Clautee (Spears) Maggard on August 18, 1949 in Keokee, Virginia. He married Patsy L. (Key) Maggard on March 25, 1967.

Jimmy was a coal miner in Virginia, Ohio and Indiana for 30 plus years, primarily for Westmoreland Coal Company.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patsy Maggard of Indianapolis; four children, Kimberly McKinney, Jimmy Maggard II, Janet Alford and Jimmy "Jason" Maggard III; four grandchildren; and brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents.
