Jerald D. "Jerry" Swank, 63, of Camby, took his first breath in heaven on Sunday January 30th, 2022. He was born May 18th, 1958 in Indianapolis to his parents, Dallas L. and Lilith A. (Atchley) Swank. He married Vicky L. (Welty) on June 9th, 1995. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Vicky L. (Welty) Swank of Camby; one sister, Janet (Kevin) Long of Mooresville; 12 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; one sister in law, Mary (Steve) Lowe; three brothers in law: David (Jennfer) Welty, Michaael Welty, Tim (Mickie) Welty; father in law, Darrell Welty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas L. and Lilith A. (Atchley) Swank, and his mother in law, Elaine N. (Wade) Welty. Jerry was a 1976 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He was a manager for Genuine Auto Parts in Indianapolis for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. He loved sports but especially football and baseball. Jerry was a huge Indianapolis Colts and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed making his beloved wife happy and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Family and friends may show their love and support from 2 to 3 pm on Saturday, February 5th at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm following visitation at the Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
