Jeffrey L Spann, 73, of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020. He was born January 20th, 1947 in Martinsville to his parents, Bennie Spann and Carlota (Cummings) Reed. He was a previous resident of West Newton for 22 years and most recently resided in Westfield for the past 39 years. Jeffrey is survived by his two sons: Scott (Marla) Spann of Indianapolis and Todd Spann of Westfield; one daughter, Shanna Hornung of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and one brother, William Spann. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ardis Cox. Jeffrey was a 1966 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He later went on to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an Electrician for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for 37 years. He enjoyed working on old cars. Jeffrey loved hunting and guns. He was also great at supervising family projects. Family and friends may show their love and support from 3-7 pm on Sunday, November 1st and from 10-11 am on Monday, November 2nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 2nd at the funeral home. Jeffrey will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
