Jeffrey Rush

Jeffrey W. Rush, 53, of Greenwood, went to be with the Lord as he was surrounded by his loving family on June 30, 2016. Jeffrey was born to Lloyd and Betty (Brown) Rush on July 23, 1962 in Indianapolis. He married Luann (Barney) Rush on April 28, 1984.

Jeffrey has been working as a Large Piping Fitter for Citizens Energy Group for the past 35 years. He attended Camby Community Church. He was a member of the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707 and Mooresville Order of Eastern Star. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Luann Rush of Greenwood; three children, April (Gary) Rohl of Franklin, Lloyd (Nikole) Rush of Greenwood and Krystal Rush of Greenwood; a grandson, Isaac Rohl; and his mother, Betty Rush of Indianapolis. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Carrie Rush; and a brother, David Rush.

Family and friends may gather from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 with a 7:30 p.m. Masonic Service and 9-10 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate Jeffrey's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Jeffrey will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery in Indianapolis.
