Jeannette Lloyd

Jeannette "Jenny" Lloyd, 94 years of age passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009. She was born March 5, 1915 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Carl and Belle (Pruit) Freyn. She married the late Norman Lloyd in 1940. She lived in Indianapolis, IN for most of her life and in Mooresville, IN for 5 years. She was a member of the Southport Christian Church. Jenny was a 1933 Shortridge High School Graduate and also attended 1 year at the Indiana Business College. She worked for the Central Business College as a Placement Director for 25 years and retired in 1986. She is survived by 2 Sons, Tom Lloyd of Mooresville, IN and Bill Lloyd of Bloomington, IN; 4 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be at 1pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Southport Christian Church. There will be a Graveside service at 3pm, December 15, 2009 where she will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Southport Christian Chuch and Brown County Community Foundation: Environmental Leadership Fund or Fund of their choice.
