Jean M Johnson

Jean M (Padgett) Johnson, 88, of Reelsville, passed away Friday, December 2nd, 2022. She was born May 31st, 1934, in Indianapolis to her parents Cecil E. and Viola Christine (Ruckriegel) Padgett. She married the late Paul S. Johnson on June 25th, 1955. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life and a recent resident of Reelsville since 2016.

Jean is survived by her three children: Karen Crawford of Reelsville, Lucinda (Randy) Johnson of Reelsville, and Derek (Christina) Johnson of Mooresville; four grandchildren: Jimmy Harrison, Michael Crawford, Nicole Crawford, and Michelle Seals; seven great grandchildren: and one sister, Barbara Padgett. Jean is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Paul S. Johnson; one son, Dwayne Johnson; one daughter, Debbie Johnson; and one brother, Russell Padgett.

Jean enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids and family.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 7th and from 11 am to 12 pm (Noon) on Thursday, December 8th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 pm (Noon) following visitation at the funeral home. Jean will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
