Jean A. "Jeane" Church

Jean A. "Jeane" (Wolfe) Church, 75, of Fillmore, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, June 28th, 2024. She was born June 9th, 1949 in Danville, Illinois to her parents Chester and Marian (Freeland) Wolfe. She married Ronald Kent "Ron" Church on July 28th, 1968. They shared nearly 58 loving years together.

Jeane is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Kent "Ron" Church; two children: Rick Church of Las Vegas, Nevada and Julie Parker (Kevin) of Fillmore; three grandchildren: Jacob, Emily, and Josie; and one sister, Joyce Tilney. Jeane is preceded in death by both of her parents; twin daughters; and two sisters: Janet Harrison and Vicki Wilson.

Jeane was a 1967 graduate of Catlin High School in Catlin, Illinois. She most recently was the Owner and Operator of County West Sports in Plainfield for the last 20 years. Most of her life was spent farming and she previously Owned and Operated Church Farms with her husband Ron in Ambia, Indiana. She was a previous member of Ambia Methodist Church and Clayton Christian Church. Jeane enjoyed reading as well as traveling. She spent a great deal of her time in the North woods of Wisconsin, where they lived. She loved hosting and cooking for all their friends. Jeane was known by many to be a very faith driven woman. She was a prayer warrior, a hard worker, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
