Jaylene R. "Thacker" Meulen, 43, of Mooresville, IN passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007. She was born August 2, 1963 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Cletus Bennett and Theda (Albright) Akers of Indianapolis, IN. Step Father, Morris Akers of Indianapolis, IN was a big influence of her life. Jaylene married Ronald Meulen, of Mooresville, IN on August 5, 2005. Jaylene was a Homemaker for most of her life. She also worked as a Grounds Keeper at the City County Building in Indianapolis and later was a Lt. for the Marion County Sherrif's Department. She is survived by her Husband, Ronald Meulen of Mooresville, IN; Mother, Theda Akers of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Daughters: Brandy Thacker of Plainfield, IN, and Brittney Thacker of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Sons: Andrew Thacker of Mooresville, IN, and Bradley Thacker of Mooresville, IN; 1 Step Son, Terry Meulen; 3 Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Craig Bennett of Indianapolis, IN; and 1 Sister, Connie Ingram of Texas. Jaylene is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Marcia Torres. Calling hours for Jaylene will be 2:00pm-3:00pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 and the funeral will begin at 3:00pm, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 both will be at Jones Family Mortuary.
